The Cornerstone Ministry Conference (CMC) is held every year to provide ongoing leadership development and spiritual re-energizing for members of all Branch Ministry Teams. This is also the time when members from around the country gather to receive information from Catholic theologians on the next year’s study and to catch the Spirit of God and the spirit of The Cornerstone for the coming year.

Meet Our Keynote Speaker - Dr. Geoff Miller

About Dr. Geoff Miller
We are excited to welcome Dr. Geoff Miller as our keynote speaker for the 2026 Cornerstone Ministry Conference. Dr. Miller has been teaching Scripture for nearly two decades. He was an Associate Professor of Theological Studies at St. Louis University eight years before returning to secondary education, where he has worked for the past ten years. He has taught theology at Jesuit high schools in Washington DC, New York City, and Chicago. More recently, he has served as a high school principal for the past four years and is currently the head of school at St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Boalsburg, PA.
Dr. Miller earned his doctorate in Biblical Studies from Catholic University in Washington, DC in 2007 and has published two books and more than a dozen articles in scholarly books and journals. His research has covered a broad range of topics, including the deuterocanonical books, canonicity, deception, marriage, angels, biblical dogs, Markan sandwiches, and the problem of evil. His work has appeared in study bibles and commentaries as well as the marriage-prep booklet Together for Life.

The CMC 2026 will be streamed live. The schedule will be posted here on Tuesday, June 16, at 8:00am. Live streaming is available to all members starting at 1:00pm on Tuesday, June 16. If you can’t make the live stream, the video recordings will be available for the keynote speaker series and certain aspects of the conference.
