Branch Announcements

Special Branch Announcement: The Cornerstone Bible Study strives to build, strengthen, and deepen a personal and loving relationship with God’s people through prayer and the study of His Word. All are welcome. Invite others to join us on this spiritual journey in discussions of Exodus each Monday from 9:30am to 11:30am in the parish center. You will enjoy treats with coffee, the opportunity to make new friends, and the chance to develop your relationship with God. For information call Linda Wiedemeier at 314-221-6553.

About St. Raphael Branch

Location: Englewood

Year Branch Began: 1998

Current Number of Members: 37

In Person/Zoom: Both In Person and Zoom Hybrid

Number of Small groups: 5

Share something new you did this past year: We genuinely enjoy spending time with people who share our values. One of the highlights for many of us has been taking part in the Lenten Soup Suppers over the last couple of years.

Share a unique or special “Best Practice” at your Branch: Lately, more members have been getting involved in things like proclamations, focuses, and reflections.

What do you enjoy most about your Branch? Our Branch has been part of the community since 1998. Over the years, we’ve had a few dedicated leaders: Leona Ennis was the second, then Joe Phipps, and now Linda Wiedemeier guides us. Among our members, Rita Laurinaitis stands out for her long-term commitment – she’s been with us since 2012. Above all, we look out for each other. Supporting one another – especially when someone needs it most – it is just part of who we are.
