Focus Training

Having a variety of speakers adds energy and vitality to The Cornerstone meetings.  Recruiting a variety of speakers is challenging because most people don’t feel qualified for the role.  This Focus Talk Training was created to provide Focus Ministers with a tool to encourage new Focus Talk givers.  It is not a mandate, nor an attempt to standardize Focus Talks.  This meant to provide practical tips for putting together Focus Talks to increase speakers’ confidence and make giving a Focus seem less intimidating.  There is also a separate deck to help Focus Ministers with the challenging job of recruiting people to give a Focus.
